Childhood memories November 15, 2009

I was delighted to find Whippet cookies at Publix here in Florida.  When I was a child living in Montreal, one of the special treats from my mom was an original Whippet cookie.  They are delicious and have not been replicated in the US.  When we moved to the US we either asked our Canadian relatives to bring us Whippets when they came to visit, or brought them back to us when we went to visit them.
