Golden Ways to use Kellogg's Corn Flakes Crumbs: FOR AND EXCELLENT FISH COATING, dip fillets in milk or slightly beaten egg whites, then toss with crumbs that have been mixed with a sprinkling of dried parsley and grated Parmesan cheese.
FOR A CRISPY CASSEROLE TOPPING, combine 125 ml (1/2 cup) crumbs with 30 ml (2 tbsp) melted butter. Sprinkle over your favourite casserole recipe before baking.
FOR A PERFECT PIE CRUST, combine 250 ml (1 cup) crumbs with 30 ml (2 tbsp) sugar and 75 ml (1/3 cup) butter, melted. Press evenly over sides and bottom of 23 cm (9") pie plate. Chill. |
