King Cole Tea 60 Bags 227g (300g)
Tea is an all-natural beverage, containing no additives, no artificial flavourings or colours. When tea is enjoyed without milk or sugar it has no calories and it's a tasty way to increase fluid intake during the day.
Customer Recipe: Sun Tea, place two bags into a jug of cold water (holds six cups) and place jug out in the hot sun (no problem finding the hot sun these days) for a few hours. Then I serve it in a tall glass with lots of ice and freshly squeezed lemon juice, at least a quarter of a lemon for each glass. If using a larger jug just add two tea bags per 6 cups of water. I have tried it with other teas and it just doesn't compare. The other brands need many more tea bags to get even a hint of the robust and refreshing taste of good old King Cole.
King Cole tea has been blended in Atlantic Canada for almost 130 years. If you love tea, one taste will tell you why this blend of orange pekoe has remained unchanged for almost seven generations, and is the favourite of customers around the globe
Please note that as of December 2010 this product is no longer manufactured using the "Gauze" material and is now packaged in the tradition paper.
Did you know that tea drinkers who have three cups or more a day, are 19 per cent less likely to suffer from cardiovascular disease? Wow! Studies have shown that tea drinkers have lower rates of cholesterol, heart disease and cancer too. Tea is also an "all-natural beverage," with zero calories when taken without milk or sugar. Steeping tea is more of an art than it is an exact science. The steeping process itself is the coming together of leaf and water for a particular time period, with the quantity of leaf and quality and temperature of the water being especially important to extracting the sublime flavor locked within the leaf itself. Simple rules of thumb given a specific category of tea will go a long ways towards insuring a good cup, but since the enjoyment of the tea is a very personal thing, one cannot discount adjusting these rules of thumb to accommodate personal taste preferences.
