Features
- Saucy Maple Plum Pork Chops
- Prep Time: 10 minutes - Cook Time: 20 minutes
- Ingredients:
- 1 tsp vegetable oil
- 4 bone-in pork loin chops (about 1 1/2 lbs / 675 g), or 1 1/4 lbs / 550 g boneless chops
- 1 small onion, halved and sliced
- 1/2 cup / 125 mL VH Plum Sauce
- 1/4 cup / 60 mL maple syrup
- 1 Tbsp Dijon mustard
- 2 Spartan apples, peeled and thinly sliced
- Directions:
- Heat oil in a large nonstick pan over medium-high heat. Cook chops, about 1 minute per side, until lightly browned. Remove and set aside.
- Sliver onion adding to unclean pan as you slice, stirring until soft. Stir in plum sauce, maple syrup and mustard.
- Return chops to pan, coating well with sauce, reduce heat to medium-low. Wash and slice unpeeled apples, Cover and simmer 5 minutes.
- Serving Size: Makes 4 Servings
