- "I haven't used soy sauce in years on my gluten-free diet, but I had heard that there was one out there that is gluten free. Well I've finally found it. VH products are ALL gluten free (EXCEPT the Teriyaki sauce). I am in Canada so I don't know if it is available in the US. When I called the manufacturer he was well informed and quite aware of Celiac Disease and gluten-free diets. I can now cook with soy sauce which opens up a new realm of gluten-free recipes that I couldn't use before. Thank you VH!."
- Orange-Hoisin Pork Tenderloin
- Preparation time: 5 minutes Cooking time: 35 minutes Serves 4
- Orange-Hoisin Pork Tenderloin
- * 1 cup VH Garlic Hoisin Sauce
- * 2 teaspoons VH Soya Sauce
- * 1/2 cup orange juice
- * 1/2 cup green onions, finely chopped
- * 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, finely chopped (optional)
- * 2 pork tenderloins, about 1 3/4 lb (800 g), each cut in half
- Directions
- 1. Heat oven to 400F (205C). In a large freezer bag add VH Garlic Hoisin Sauce, VH Soya Sauce, orange juice, onions and cilantro, blend well. Add tenderloins and marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes or overnight.
- 2. Place all the ingredients from the bag in a large baking dish, roast uncovered in oven until the internal temperature reads 160F (70C), about 30-40 minutes depending on thickness of pork.
- 3. Let pork rest for 5 minutes, slice and serve with liquid from pan and extra VH Garlic Hoisin Sauce for dipping.
- Tip 1. If the liquid in the baking dish is getting too dry, add 2-3 tbsp of water to regain a sauce consistency.
